Experienced Residential Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, property maintenance, and equipment repair. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
• Perform equipment repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other related machinery.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC/R systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to address complex service issues effectively.
• Build and install new equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies, providing timely solutions to customer concerns.

Skills

• Proficient in equipment repair techniques and property maintenance practices.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Capability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methods in the HVAC/R field.
