Roll-Off Dumpster Driver (Non-CDL / CDL) – Local Routes

Position Overview

Thank you for your interest in joining Bin There Dump That – Capital Area. We are seeking a reliable and professional Roll-Off Dumpster Driver to join our team.

You Must Have Roll-Off or similar heavy equipment experience.

This position involves delivering and picking up 4–20 yard dumpsters for residential, commercial, and government/military customers throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Typical hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time (up to 40+ hours/week)

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and pick up roll-off dumpsters safely and efficiently
• Plan routes and navigate using GPS and dispatch software
• Tarp dumpsters to ensure safe transport
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status and updates
• Provide excellent customer service at each job site
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (tires, lights, fluids, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck
• Travel up to 200 miles a day

Equipment

• Company trucks provided (Ford F600 / F650 roll-off trucks)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but a plus)
• Valid DOT medical card
• Must be 23 years or older
• Clean driving record
• Clean background check
• Ability to perform physical work (climbing, tarping, etc.)
• Comfortable using a smartphone for dispatch and communication
• Strong knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods
• Professional attitude and appearance

Screening Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana)
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy

Preferred Experience

• Roll-off, hook-lift, or rollback truck experience
• Heavy equipment or construction-related experience

Work Environment

• Construction sites, residential neighborhoods, and commercial properties
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
