Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions focused on SAT and ACT test preparation, emphasizing strategic test-taking techniques and content mastery
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style to maximize progress
• Utilize innovative learning technology and digital resources to enhance instruction and engage students effectively
• Assess student performance regularly through practice tests and provide constructive feedback to track improvement
• Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and motivate them throughout their test prep journey
• Stay current with the latest developments in standardized testing formats, curriculum standards, and educational best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAT/ACT tutor or classroom teacher with a strong background in test preparation or secondary education
• Demonstrated expertise in math, writing skills, and overall subject matter relevant to standardized tests
• Excellent presentation skills via online platforms with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and working with diverse student populations including adult learners and students with special education needs
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used for online instruction
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and educational teams
• Candidates with formal teaching experience are highly preferred.

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per hour
