Experienced Security Guard

Livermore Casino is now hiring for PT/FT TIPPED - experienced Security Guards! A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to):

• Foot and/or vehicle patrol of interior and exterior areas of assigned locations
• Report suspicious activities and persons
• Write detailed narrative reports
• Maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Access control through an admittance process, IE verifying customer age and proper identification as necessary
• Screen customers in an efficient manner in order to expedite or prevent their admittance to the Casino
• Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations and unauthorized persons
• Other duties as assigned by Management
• Provide excellent customer care to customers and employees
• Can do attitude, IE do “what-it-takes” to get the job done

Requirements:

• Security Guards are expected to have a valid BSIS California guard card.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
• A successful Security Guard will be able to operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
• Security Guards should be able to write an accurate detailed report.
• Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them daily. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.
• Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
• Bend, stretch, lift up to 25 lbs.
• Be able to push with arms.
• Be able to put arms over head.
• Be able to reach for objects and grasp with both hands.
• Be able to twist body.
• Be able to run or walk briskly for short periods of time or hurriedly respond.
• Be able to move head/neck without impediment.
