Experienced Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with various POS systems and food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary knowledge and guest service expertise while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Support host/hostess duties when necessary, including seating arrangements and guest inquiries
• Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement (21 years or older) to serve alcohol.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
• Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
• Previous roles such as server, host/hostess, busser, or in nightlife venues like nightclubs are beneficial
