Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our upscale dining team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, exceptional customer relations skills, and proficiency with various POS systems. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support host/host duties as needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Ahola POS and Toast POS
- Strong background in food service, customer service, and hospitality industries
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Proven ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through excellent service skills
- Prior experience in nightclub or bar settings is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous for understanding guest flow management
