Experienced Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our upscale dining team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, exceptional customer relations skills, and proficiency with various POS systems. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fine dining environment where guest satisfaction and service excellence are paramount. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Support host/host duties as needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Experience

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Ahola POS and Toast POS
• Strong background in food service, customer service, and hospitality industries
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Proven ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through excellent service skills
• Prior experience in nightclub or bar settings is a plus but not required
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous for understanding guest flow management
