Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender/Server to join our team at Goodbar Management. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and inviting bar atmosphere. This position will be cross-trained between the bar and service floor. The primary role will be serving. However, regular bar shifts will become available in the near future as your knowledge and experience grow. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' overall experience at the bar and in the dining room. The ideal candidate will have formal/fine-dining and bar experience, but will prefer to work in a faster-paced, more casual dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell drink specials and menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a cocktail-centric environment is preferred.
• Strong guest awareness and experience in casual and fine dining is preferred
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
• Knowledge of Resy or similar reservation systems is a plus.
