Position Description

Experienced Sign Builder

• Fabricating channel letters: face lit, halo lit, trimless.
• Fabricating illuminated cabinets up to 50' long
• Welding, using epoxies, steel subframe manufacturing.
• Installing LED and fluorescent illumination including wiring, power supplies, switches, digital reader boards.

Qualifications

• Metal fabrication experience required.
• Able to read drawings, plans and layout work, and set up/operate machinery such as shears, brakes, rollers etc.
• Experience with painting and acrylic work are a plus.
• Knowledge of the signage industry is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or mobile device for email, job instructions and time tracking.
• Basic math skills for fabrication and construction painting.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• Must be a punctual, organized, independent worker with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Positive outlook and team mindset are essential!

Compensation

• Pay and other benefits commensurate with experience.
• Candidates with solid sign manufacturing experience start at $30 + hourly.
