Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting sustainable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with specific expertise in the solar industry, to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share in the solar energy sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the renewable energy field.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to refine approaches and optimize performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews for the team.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align on solar product offerings and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years specifically in solar sales or renewable energy.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, market dynamics, and relevant technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
