Experienced Special Needs Nanny Needed in Sacramento

Capitol Park Nanny Agency is currently seeking experienced nannies to support families with children who have medical or special needs. These roles vary by family but may include caring for infants, toddlers, or young children with developmental delays, genetic conditions, or ongoing medical care.

Children may be receiving regular therapies, have feeding tubes, or require extra support with daily routines. Families are warm, involved, and committed to providing training and support, but prior experience and comfort in medically complex environments is strongly preferred.

These positions are ideal for nannies who are calm, confident, and able to work independently while partnering closely with parents and care teams.

Positions May Include

• Full or Part time hours
• Long-term placements with supportive families
• Occasional evenings or weekends
• Competitive pay, with higher rates for stronger medical or special needs experience

General Responsibilities

• Direct care of children with medical or developmental needs
• Supporting therapy goals and routines at home
• Feeding support (including feeding tubes, with training provided)
• Light child-related tidying
• Driving to appointments when needed (mileage reimbursed)

Ideal Candidates

• 3–5+ years of experience with special needs children or in a related medical field
• Comfortable learning and following care plans
• Calm, reliable, and able to work autonomously
• Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
• CPR/First Aid, TDAP, TB (or willingness to update)
