Experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Intellectual Works is looking for experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to contribute deep domain knowledge to the creation of high-quality technical courses. As an SME, you will work closely with Technical Content Engineers, instructional designers, and video teams to ensure all learning content is technically accurate, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices.

This role is ideal for professionals who have strong real-world experience and a passion for sharing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical guidance in assigned subject areas
• Collaborate with Technical Content Engineers to design course outlines and learning objectives
• Review and validate technical accuracy of course content, labs, and projects
• Contribute real-world use cases, examples, and best practices
• Ensure content aligns with current industry standards and trends
• Review assessments, assignments, and hands-on projects for relevance and correctness
• Support video recording sessions, script reviews, or live demonstrations when required
• Respond to technical queries from content teams during course development
• Continuously update content recommendations based on evolving technologies

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in one or more technical domains (e.g., Software Development, Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data, AI, Networking, etc.)
• Proven industry experience with real-world project exposure
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or technical reviewer
• Experience contributing to technical documentation, courses, or learning platforms
• Certifications in relevant technical domains (a plus)
