Experienced Tent Installer - Event Setup Crew

Florida Tents and Events is one of Central Florida's go-to event rental companies, and we're growing. We install everything from elegant wedding tents to large festival and corporate structures across the Orlando metro and Lake County. We're looking for an experienced Tent Installer who takes pride in clean, safe, on-time setups and wants steady, year-round work with a hard-working crew.

This is hands-on, physical, outdoor work. Events don't move, so when a tent is scheduled to go up, it goes up. If you're reliable, strong, good with your hands, and you have done this work before, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Load, transport, install, and tear down frame tents, pole tents, and clearspan structures at event sites

- Stake, ballast, and secure tents safely to manufacturer and safety standards

- Set up flooring, sidewalls, lighting, tables, chairs, and related event equipment

- Read setup diagrams and follow the crew lead's layout

- Drive company vehicles (box trucks and trailers) to and from job sites

- Represent the company professionally on customer property: clean, courteous, and on time

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (REQUIRED)

- 2+ years of hands-on tent installation experience (event, party rental, or structures)

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a strong plus)

- Able to repeatedly lift and carry 50+ lbs and be on your feet all day

- Available weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - these are our busiest days

- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat with early-morning start times

- Reliable transportation to our Tavares shop and a strong work ethic

- Team player who shows up on time, every time
