Experienced Toddler Teacher (Important: Read Job Description!)

NEEDED FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE!!! A Full-Time Co-Teacher in our Toddler Classroom

Classroom Age Range: 12-36 months # of Teachers: 3 # of Students: 12

Compensation ($19-22/hr): $19/hr = minimum state qualifications; $22/hr = State ECE Cert or ECE AAS

Applicants must already have a cleared DCYF Background Check verified in MERIT AND a minimum of one year of relevant experience working a childcare facility to be considered.

Our center's hours are 7am - 5pm Monday-Friday. Applicants need to be available to work during these hours. The current opening is for a closing shift. The normal closing shift schedule is 8:30am - 5:15pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

A Little About Our Center:

Robyn's Nest is not your typical childcare center. We are looking for experienced, educated childcare providers who love what they do, but feel they aren't getting the support they need to do their job well.

Our goal as a center is to provide a positive learning and work environment for all our children and staff. Together, our children and staff benefit from low classroom ratios, high-quality materials, supportive administration, and a clean, organized facility.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not hiring babysitters, so if sitting around and "watching" children all day is what you are looking for - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!

We design and follow a daily schedule filled with engaging hands-on curriculum and activities. Teachers are expected to actively engage and lovingly care for children throughout the day along with completing their assigned administrative and light cleaning duties. Other general expectations and responsibilities are outlined in our Employee Handbook and in WAC-110-300.

Our center covers the cost for annual STARS hours, Washington Food Workers Permits, CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen training requirements.
