Precious Paws Veterinary Hospital opened our doors in January 2021 with Dr. Kay Metzgar as our Medical Director and sole practitioner. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years, graduating from Iowa State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Since that time we have added another full-time DVM as well as a long-term relief DVM with a regular schedule. We are growing!!

Our modern facility is located at the foot of the brand new I-74 bridge crossing the Mississippi River, giving easy access to clients from both Iowa and Illinois. We offer ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental services with digital radiographs, soft tissue surgeries, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and wellness care.

We're looking to add an experienced Veterinary Client Care Representative. Responsibilities of this role include answering phones, responding to emails and texts, scheduling appointments, triaging client calls regarding sick patients, collecting payments, faxing, scanning, and data entry. Knowledge of veterinary terms and concepts are a a requirement for this position. Prior experience at a front desk of a medical practice preferred, and a veterinary practice even better. Candidate must have great telephone etiquette and be highly proficient in verbal communication and writing skills; thrive in a multi-tasking environment; work well within a team; have an associates degree or equivalent work experience; and love animals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
