EXPERIENCED VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST FOR FAST PACED CLINIC!

We are looking for a TALENTED, OUTGOING, and HIGHLY MOTIVATED individual with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS who LOVES ANIMALS to join our amazing Reception Staff! EXPERIENCE in the Veterinary industry is PREFERRED, but we are willing to train the right candidate! In order to qualify for this position you must possess great customer service skills, be outgoing, as well as a team player and quick learner. Phone and computer skills (data entry, use of e-mail, internet, Microsoft word) are a must. You must either have KNOWLEDGE of Veterinary products and services OR have the ability to assimilate information quickly! Multi-tasking is a huge part of this position, so you must be able to do so efficiently. Our team works Monday-Friday, as well as Saturdays, so it is important that you have open availability. We hope to welcome you our amazing team!

Responsibilities:

Greet Clients as soon as they come in

Check in patients for Medical, Technician, Grooming and Surgery appointments

Answer phone calls

Make appointments

Enter invoices into our software

Take detailed notes of phone calls, patient history

Call Clients to Confirm Appointments

Have basic knowledge of veterinary products and services

Run Credit Card Payments

Put away patient files

Place patient files in appropriate bins

Keep accurate records

Help restrain patients on occasion

Clearly communicate with clients, staff

Send Faxes & Print

Order Office Supplies

Send e-mails

Skills:

Proven Work Experience as a Receptionist/ Front Desk Representative

Excellent Customer Service attitude and Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)

Professional attitude and appearance

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Excellent organizational skills

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

High school degree

Use of Internet

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
