Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Only candidates with 1+ years Veterinary reception experience will be considered for these positions. As the first point of contact for our patients and clients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and administrative assistance in our clinic setting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on organization, efficiency, communication and multi-tasking.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating patient records and maintaining accurate records. Attention to details is a must as this is a very busy clinic.
-Checking in/out clients for vaccination and pre-operative surgery appointments.
- Provide administrative support to the medical team, including scheduling appointments and handling VM, phone and email correspondence.
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain an efficient and organized reception area.
- Proofread and edit documents and materials as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, communication and follow-thru skills.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Veterinary receptionist or in a similar administrative role is required (one year minimum).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a PLUS.
- Strong attention to detail, computer data entry and proofreading skills.

Two (2) Positions Available:
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Expected hours: F/T 36-40 hours per week, P/T: 25 hours per week
