Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Waitress/Waiter to join our dynamic food service team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service for all guests
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change
- Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses during busy periods
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols consistently throughout your shift
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Waitress/Waiter in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation procedures in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, bussing, or hosting is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a nightclub or restaurant setting
