Experienced Waitress/waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Waitress/Waiter to join our dynamic food service team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service for all guests
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses during busy periods
• Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols consistently throughout your shift

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Waitress/Waiter in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation procedures in the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, bussing, or hosting is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a nightclub or restaurant setting

Pay: $4.50 - $5.00 per hour
