Experienced Welder and Metal Fabricator 5+ Years Required

Awning and Architectural Metals company in Broward County is looking for an experienced WELDER and Metal Fabricator to join our team. This position requires skilled MIG, TIG, arc and acetylene welding in the manufacture and/or repair of a variety of metal fixtures related to shade structures, gutters, railings, gates, and miscellaneous architectural metal products.

Please submit your resume if you have at least 5 years' current experience in layout and metal fabrication/welding.

• Knowledge and Adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to use tape measure and measuring tools.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
• Welds metal parts as specified by layout, sketches, blueprints, or other written/verbal communications using arc, MIG, TIG and acetylene welding techniques. Includes galvanized and stainless steel and aluminum.
• Read print drawings and engineering specs
• Strong verbal communication skills-position involves working effectively with managers, sales, field personnel, vendors and employees/co-workers.
• Timely completion of projects.
• Experienced in welding methods, procedures, quality control and equipment.
• Inventory and supplies control.
• Position requires welding, lifting, pushing, bending, pulling and other related physical activity.
