Job Description: WordPress DeveloperJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience who can build, customize, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with custom themes, plugins, and performance optimization, with additional exposure to modern frontend technologies being a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Customize existing themes and plugins based on project requirements
• Convert Figma / Adobe XD / PSD designs into responsive WordPress pages
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO
• Ensure website security, backups, and updates
• Troubleshoot WordPress, plugin, and hosting-related issues
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools
• Work with WooCommerce for eCommerce functionality when required
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to deliver scalable solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong experience with WordPress CMS
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development
• Solid understanding of MySQL
• Experience with WooCommerce customization
• Knowledge of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
• Experience with website performance optimization and caching
• Comfort working with hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk, or similar)
• Version control experience (Git preferred)

Plus / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Working knowledge of React.js (especially for headless WordPress or custom UI components)
• Strong understanding of HTML5 standards and semantic markup
• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
• Basic SEO and schema markup knowledge
• Experience with Cloudflare, CDN, and security best practices
• Prior experience working in an agency or offshore development environment
