- Support projects from strategy and programming through design, production, implementation, and construction administration (if applicable).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across studios to develop innovative, brand-driven solutions that enhance user experience.
- Support project teams and clients to define vision, goals, and functional needs—leading or supporting discovery, research, and synthesis to inform tailored design strategies.
- Manage coordination of smaller projects through proactive communication, maintaining schedules, budgets, and alignment with clients and consultants.
- Develop design concepts and layouts for wayfinding, brand identity, and information design—integrating storytelling into the built environment, collateral, or digital applications to create a strong sense of brand.
- Produce production-ready artwork and files for print, digital, and environmental graphics.
- Prepare comprehensive signage design intent documentation, including key plans, message schedules, elevations, design details, and material/finish specifications.
- Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples in coordination with fabricators and partners.
- Contribute to creative dialogue, client presentations, and overall project excellence.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant design and multimedia software.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, experiential graphic design (EGD), or a related discipline; or at least 7 years of relevant architecture, EGD, or exhibit design experience.
- Strong understanding of three-dimensional brand solutions, wayfinding strategies, and graphic design practices including expertise in messaging, typography, color, imagery, materiality, fabrication techniques, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), and elevations, with a solid grasp of scale, signage, and architectural materials and construction methods.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of EGD constructability, materials, and best practices to create innovative, achievable design solutions.
Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Google SketchUp (or equivalent 2D/3D drafting and modeling software) is preferred but not required.
