About the Role

Renexus Resource Group is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Academic Research Writer to join our in-house team in Karachi. Key Responsibilities

• In-depth Research: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and data-based research to produce high-quality academic deliverables such as essays, theses, dissertations, and research papers.
• Content Creation: Develop original, well-researched, and logically structured academic content across various subjects.
• Editing & Quality Control: Review and refine written work to ensure grammatical precision, coherence, and academic integrity.
• Referencing & Formatting: Apply appropriate referencing styles (APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago, etc.) with accuracy and consistency.
• Data Interpretation: Utilize analytical tools such as SPSS, MATLAB, EViews, or Stata to support research findings and enhance data-driven projects.
• Time & Task Management: Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain high standards of quality and contribute to a culture of shared growth and professionalism.

Skills & Competencies

• Language Proficiency: Strong command of written English, with excellent grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
• Research Expertise: Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to synthesize information effectively.
• Technical Competence: Skilled in MS Word and MS Excel; familiarity with research software is advantageous.
• Referencing Knowledge: Thorough understanding of major academic citation formats.
• Professional Traits: Detail-oriented, dependable, disciplined, and able to perform well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, A-Levels, or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in academic or research writing.
• Preferred Skills: Prior exposure to tools such as SPSS, MATLAB, EViews, or Stata for quantitative or qualitative analysis.
