Position Overview

Renexus Resource Group is seeking an experienced Academic Research Writer to join our writing division in Karachi. This role involves working on diverse academic assignments across various subject areas, while collaborating in an environment that prioritizes continuous learning, refined research, and strong delivery standards.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys academic exploration, can analyze information thoughtfully, and is able to produce high-quality written work that aligns with global academic formats.

Core Duties

• Conduct comprehensive research, literature review, and information analysis to support academic content creation.
• Prepare well-structured, original essays, reports, research papers, case studies, and analytical write-ups.
• Edit, proofread, and refine draft content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and logical flow.
• Apply relevant referencing styles (APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago, etc.) consistently and correctly.
• Utilize analytical tools (e.g., SPSS, STATA, EViews, MATLAB) where necessary for data-backed assignments.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within defined deadlines.
• Collaborate with the writing team to meet quality requirements and ensure timely completion.

Required Competencies

• Excellent written English and command over grammar, phrasing, and sentence structure.
• Strong research approach with the ability to synthesize data and information.
• Proficiency in MS Word; basic familiarity with Excel.
• Understanding of academic referencing conventions.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, self-managed, and deadline-driven.

Education & Experience

• A-Levels, Diploma, or Bachelor’s in English, Social Sciences, Communications, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience in academic or research-based writing.
• Familiarity with statistical / analytical software will be considered an advantage.
