We are looking for an experienced Business Developer / IT Sales Expert who has a strong background in lead generation, Upwork bidding, client acquisition, and business growth strategies. If you’re a motivated closer with a passion for the tech industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork, Yelp, Bark, LinkedIn, and other lead generation platforms.
- Write effective Upwork proposals and manage ongoing client communications.
- Identify, generate, and convert high-quality B2B leads in the software and IT services sector.
- Research and build relationships with potential clients across industries.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, business plans, and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations.
- Use CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, etc.) for lead tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
- Understand client requirements and align them with company services such as web development, mobile app development, SaaS, and digital marketing.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Handle client onboarding, negotiations, and long-term relationship management.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development, IT sales, or software sales.
- Demonstrated success in Upwork bidding and profile management.
- Strong experience with Yelp, Bark, and other online lead generation platforms.
- Excellent understanding of software development services, technologies, and project lifecycles (SDLC).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with lead generation tools, CRM systems, and sales automation platforms.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-focused.
- Experience with LinkedIn lead generation and outreach campaigns.
- Prior experience working with international clients (US, UK, Europe, Australia).
- Familiarity with proposal writing, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, UI/UX design, or app monetization.
