The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. The position will be based in Nairobi, Hargeisa, Dubai or other location strategic to the Somali aid industry with frequent travel to Somalia.
As Business Development Manager, you will lead strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and business development efforts for the Somalia/Somaliland Country Office. You will drive donor intelligence gathering, identify and secure new funding opportunities, diversify funding streams, and strengthen WHH’s positioning within the Somali humanitarian and development landscape.
