Expert Legal Researcher: Paralegal or Attorney

Stokes & Associates, Inc., an award-winning place to work, is looking for a contract/PRN paralegal or freelance attorney to assist us in legal research.

We anticipate needing approximately five hours per week on an as needed basis to do research on:

1. Vocational Rehabilitation, Life Care Planning, or other Experts including information on whether they have been accepted, limited, or excluded from cases.

2. Research our experts to determine if there are Daubert or other challenges, limitations, exclusions, or motions to limit or exclude testimony.

3. Case law and rulings relevant to our services.

4. Rules and Regulations for Expert testimony in venues across the US.

5. Requests for information specific to cases as determined by our experts.

We will not require the production of documents or tasks of legal filings, just research. The candidate should have access to legal research software, such as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis or Bloomberg. This can be a 100% remote position and may evolve with time.
