Expert Network Engineer

We are looking for a “ Expert Network Engineer ” with the following qualifications to join our team as part of our growing organization:

Qualifications

• Preferably graduated from Computer Technologies, Management Information Systems, or related engineering departments at universities,

• Experienced for at least 3 (three) years in a similar position,

• Residing in or able to reside in Istanbul,

• Proficient in English,

• Experienced in project management,

• No travel restrictions,

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless networks.

• Proficiency in network management tools and technologies, such as network monitoring systems, configuration management, and performance analysis tools,

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently. Knowledgeable in structural, data, and fiber cabling,

• Capable of network troubleshooting,

• Adaptable to a dynamic work environment,

• Preferably holding CCNA/CCNP or HCNA/HCNP certifications,

• Preferably experienced in managing Network Monitoring applications.

• Network Design & Implementation

• Security & Compliance (Cybersecurity, firewall policies, NAC, and Zero Trust frameworks)

• Strong understanding of railway communication networks and protocols.

• Experience with industrial Ethernet, MPLS, SDH, and fiber optic networks.

• Knowledge of operational technology (OT) systems used in railway environments.

• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

• Understanding of railway-specific safety and redundancy requirements.

Job Description

• Managing technical processes with suppliers after understanding project requirements,

• Ensuring the tracking and documentation of the relevant project,

• Designing network projects (Layer3, Layer2), configuring topology, and carrying out installation, configuration, and commissioning processes,

• Conducting technical comparisons of network devices,

• Actively participating in testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure for railway control centers, stations, depots, and trackside systems.

• Support networking for signaling systems, SCADA, CCTV, passenger information displays, ticketing, and intercom systems.

• Implement redundancy, failover, and high-availability solutions to minimize service interruptions.

• Maintain and optimize wireless communication systems (Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, and private radio links).
