Expo/Food Runner

EXPO: The Whisper House seeks awesome kitchen Expo! Must be bilingual (English and Spanish), have experience working in a high-volume kitchen, keep calm under pressure, and possess strong attention to detail! Must keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables. You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out fast and efficiently. *Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the cash register to the kitchen * Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority * Assist in the final preparation of dishes * Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature * Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH

HOST: The host/hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly and courteous manner while maintaining a smooth flow in the dining room. * Display a welcoming smile and show attentiveness to our guests as they enter the restaurant. * Maintain reservation wait list * Seat guest properly according to seating chart. * Be positive, energetic and mindful of the guest's needs in our restaurant and on the phone. * Answer the telephone and respond to guests' inquiries. * Assist server, food-runner or bartender if necessary. * Communicate with staff special requests/needs of guests. * Complete additional tasks at the request of a manager. * Make sure the host area is clean and maintained. Preferred Skills: * 1 year hosting experience *Positive, upbeat and energetic. * Able to work at a fast pace. * Willingness to assist server, expo, or bartender when needed to give guest outstanding service. * Teamwork approach to the position is essential

Host and Expo also tipped out every shift on top of the hourly wage>
