Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC documents, etc.)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and shipping lines
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations
- Track shipments and update customers on delivery status
- Manage export billing, payment follow-ups, and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation
- Communicate with international clients for order confirmation and dispatch planning
- Maintain export records and prepare MIS reports
- Monitor export incentives, schemes, and regulatory updates
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of international trade documentation and Incoterms
- Familiarity with customs procedures and export compliance
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Problem-solving and time management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field
- Certification in Import-Export Management (preferred)
- 1–5 years of experience in export operations (depending on level)
