Job Title: Export Executive – Tea (International Trade & Documentation)

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 5 years in Tea Export / Agro Commodity Export

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Export Executive who has strong knowledge of tea trade, export documentation, and international business procedures, especially exports from India to markets like Iran, the Middle East, and CIS countries.

The candidate will play a key role in setting up and managing our export operations, from vendor coordination to documentation, logistics, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and coordinate with tea suppliers, brokers, and buyers (domestic and international).

Handle end-to-end export process including documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, FSSAI, Phytosanitary Certificate, etc.).

Manage DGFT, Customs, and Port formalities efficiently.

Communicate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.

Handle LCs (Letter of Credit), payment follow-ups, and export incentive documentation.

Ensure compliance with EXIM policies, RBI guidelines, and international trade regulations.

Track and manage shipments, logistics schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain relationships with Tea Board of India, EPCs, and government bodies.

Conduct market research on potential buyers and emerging tea markets globally (esp. Iran, UAE, Russia, Turkey, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate or Postgraduate in International Business / Commerce / Tea Management / Export-Import Management.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in tea export or agro commodity export.

Strong understanding of export documentation and logistics.

Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.

Knowledge of Iran trade process and rupee payment mechanisms (INR trade settlements) will be an added advantage.

Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience dealing with Tea Board of India, DGFT, and CHA.

Understanding of INCOTERMS, LC procedures, and banking documentation.

Exposure to export documentation software (ICEGATE / DGFT portals).

Salary:

Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 45,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
