EXPORT LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

  • Hazardous Shipping / Packing List / Commercial Invoices
  • ERP and shipping software experience ( o Examples of software experience: NetSuite, Ship Hawk, Ship station, R4, RF Smart, Excel

EXPORT COORDINATION

  • Negotiate with forwarders on best rates.
  • Communicate with forwarders on pick up’s, to book cargo on either ocean or air deliveries.
  • Prepares necessary export documentation such as bill of landing, packaging list, invoice, and other required documents by Customs, Airline companies, and TSA.
  • Makes sure that all paperwork is completed in compliance with customs regulations.
  • E-mail is necessary for shipping information to the customers and other parties after completing export documentation.
  • Communicates with department supervisor and other staff to maintain effective workflow.
  • Communicates with sales department and customer service department staff to answer customers’ requests and inquiries.
  • Prioritize export orders with pickers and packers.
  • Request items from Headquarters and work with the team on expediting any items, making an order short.
  • Print labels for both ocean and air deliveries
  • Confirm all pallets are flagged with the correct hazardous shipping labels.
  • Create fed ex and/or UPS shipments needed for customer samples.
  • Keeping up to date with seasonal launches and monthly and/or quarterly promos to monitor several employees for heavier order-picking weeks.

OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS

  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
  • Maintains good communication with other managers, staff & outside contacts.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Bilingual a plus, but not a requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
