Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Export Manager with a strong background in selling control panel accessories such as Cable Lugs, Cable Glands, Terminal Blocks, Enclosures, DMC Insulators, and related electrical components.
The ideal candidate must have prior export sales experience, strong customer relationships in GCC, Africa, and South East Asia, and excellent knowledge of export procedures and documentation.
This role involves international business development, managing overseas distributors, handling export documentation, and expanding our global footprint.
Key Responsibilities1. International Sales & Market Development
- Develop and grow business across GCC (UAE, Saudi, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait), Africa, and South East Asia.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, OEMs, panel builders, and trading houses.
- Generate new enquiries, offer pricing, negotiate terms, and close sales.
2. Product Sales – Electrical & Control Panel Accessories
- Promote a complete range of control panel accessories:
- Cable Lugs
- Cable Glands
- Terminal Blocks
- Industrial Enclosures
- DMC / SMC Insulators
- Wiring accessories & related electrical components
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products.
3. Export Documentation & Compliance
- Handle end-to-end export documentation including:
- Proforma Invoice
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- LC documentation
- Shipping instructions
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, LC terms, and country-specific requirements.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with overseas clients.
- Support customers with technical data, approvals, and product certifications.
- Ensure smooth order processing, shipment follow-up, and payment collection.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to expand product range and market reach.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for timely deliveries.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Export Manager / International Sales Manager in electrical components or control panel accessories.
- Strong knowledge of GCC, African & South East Asian markets.
- Experience dealing with overseas distributors and large trading houses.
- In-depth understanding of export procedures, documentation, HS codes, shipping terms (INCOTERMS), LC handling, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred (Engineering background is an advantage).
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken).
- Strong negotiation & international customer handling ability.
- Knowledge of electrical components and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with export logistics, freight forwarding, and customs processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email correspondence, and any other.
