An Export Sales Head in edible oil includes developing global sales strategies, managing international markets, setting and achieving sales targets, and building relationships with overseas clients and distributors. Key requirements are extensive experience in edible oil sales, international market development, and strong leadership and business development skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global sales and marketing strategies for edible oil products in international markets.
  • Set and manage annual sales targets for international markets and monitor team performance against them.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential customers globally.
  • Manage key international accounts and cultivate strong relationships with clients, distributors, and agents.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and performance data to drive business growth.
  • Oversee export operations, including logistics and ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline business processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor the export sales team to build their capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is often preferred.
  • Experience: Significant experience (often 10+ years) in core edible oil sales is mandatory, with a proven track record in export sales and international market development.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain an international network of customers and distributors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of international trade, logistics, and export documentation is beneficial.
