Experience: Usually 3–10 years in textile export sales.

Role Overview:

An Export Sales & Marketing Manager specializing in Yarn & Cotton Waste is responsible for driving international business growth by finding buyers, negotiating deals, and managing the end-to-end export process for textile raw materials and byproducts. This role bridges the gap between domestic producers (spinning mills) and global manufacturers, traders, or distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

a. Identify and secure new international clients, distributors, and markets for cotton yarn and cotton waste.

b. Handle price negotiations, finalize contract terms, payment terms (LC, TT), and close sales orders.

c. Monitor global textile trends, cotton waste demand, price fluctuations, and competitor activities to adjust strategies.

d. Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations, quality standards, and customs requirements. This includes managing bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

e. Coordinate with logistics teams, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for timely dispatch, tracking, and delivery.

f. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing overseas buyers and vendors.

g. Understand different yarn counts, types (combed, carded, compact), and grades of cotton waste to match buyer requirements.

Core Competencies & Skills:

a. Deep understanding of the textile supply chain, specifically spinning units, cotton markets, and waste byproducts.

b. Excellent verbal and written skills to deal with diverse international cultures. Proficiency in export software, MS Office, and ERP systems.

c. Familiarity with EXIM policies, customs handling, and BCI/organic certifications.

Preferred Attributes:

Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.

Educational background in Textile Technology or Marketing is a plus.
