Exterior Door Assembler
Job Summary: Assembles Exterior doors, prepares Exterior door jamb components. Understands the exterior components and industry, works well with team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build doors at an increasing rate over time with exceptional quality.
- Assemble/ builds exterior single door units.
- Works on a team at a fast pace.
- Builders will shoot door frames together with pneumatic staple and nail guns,
- Install door glass into door panels,
- Apply hinges to door frames and panels,
- Apply brick mold to door units when complete.
- Doors will then be dressed for shipping with supplied products and placed onto a designated cart.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of nail guns, basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, knives, etc.)
- Able to read and write in English.
- Compute basic measurements with fractions.
- Carpentry skills are a plus.
- Must be able to keep their workspace clean and be on time.
Education and Experience: High school diploma
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
- Stand on concrete floors for up to 10 hour shifts.
