The Extended Care Services Support Manager is responsible for supporting clinical delivery systems in all levels of living. This position assures that standards are met for HC, PC/AL, and HCBS in accordance with established Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations. Provides support to communities to ensure quality of care, clinical operational effectiveness and survey compliance with standards and regulations. Implements education and training programs for nursing personnel and direct care staff. Supports Presbyterian Senior Living Senior Staff and Operations Support Group in clinical areas.
Qualifications:- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure required
- Ability to obtain Registered Nurse licensure in all states PSL operates
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, gerontology, administration or related field preferred
- Five years’ experience as a Director of Nursing or clinical consultant required
- Microsoft Office, including Word Excel, and e-mail applications required
- Strong demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Travel is required; approximately 90% of time worked

Responsibilities:- Assures compliance with standards and regulations.
- Assists in evaluation, development and implementation of necessary policies and procedures.
- Provides support to communities and operations support group on HC, PC/AL, and HCBS operations and regulation.
- Consults with and provides support to HC, PC/AL, and HCBS programs on a regular basis and maintains regular visits.
- Assures a person centered philosophy is integrated throughout all services of the organization.
- Provides support to HC, PC/AL, and HCBS programs to ensure compliance with state regulations and survey preparation; this includes: program evaluation as well as provision of programs, training and monitoring of progress.
- Supports HC, PC/AL, and HCBS programs with development and implementation of plans of corrections and other survey related activities.
- Provides support to program management for the development of appropriate staffing patterns in HC, PC/AL, and HCBS programs.
- Evaluates, recommends and implements clinical and in-service education for HC, PC/AL, and HCBS staff in conjunction with appropriate personnel. Conducts and participates in training as required.
- Provides support and assists the community management team in the development of NHA, DON and clinical team members
- Responsible for regular clinical review of HC, PC/AL, and HCBS charts and observation-of-care at the delivery level.
- Participates in pre-survey process, including preparation, analysis and follow up.
- Provides support for crisis management.
- Provides assistance to improve or correct quality issues at program level.
- Recommend, train and implement new programs and quality improvement measures.
- Compiles, analyzes and communicates information on a timely basis.
- Responsible for coordination of compliance reviews (score cards) and participates in peer reviews for all levels of care.
- Leads and participates in meetings related to clinical services.
- Assures Operational Compliance with privacy requirements.
- Serves as interim DON or RNAC as necessary.
