Position Type: Part-Time (Thursdays After Care)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Extended Care Teacher / Coordinator to oversee our before and aftercare programs. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children, creating engaging activities, and supporting their developmental needs in a Christian foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

- **After Care:**

- Facilitate structured and enriching activities for K-8 students from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM .

- Plan and implement diverse activities that cater to varying abilities and interests, including arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and quiet time.

- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that fosters community and friendship among students.

- Assist with student transitions during pick-up times and communicate effectively with parents.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; college students or recent graduates majoring in education or related fields preferred.

- Experience working with children, especially in an educational or daycare setting.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and families.

- Ability to create and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse learning needs.

- A passion for nurturing young minds in a Christian-based environment.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
