Exterior Porter Cleaner - Chicago and Suburbs Part time

Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Exterior Porters to join our team in the Chicago area and suburbs. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance and safety of commercial properties by performing exterior cleaning. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, develop hands-on skills, and contribute to the upkeep of beautiful, well-maintained properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep all corners and entrances.
• Empty all waste receptacles and replace with trash liners.
• Clean trash can tops with solvent. Clean/Empty Cigarette areas, if applicable.
• Pick up paper and debris from entire property, including islands, planters, shrubs,
• loading docks and garbage dumpsters.
• Remove any unapproved signage from poles, columns, sidewalks, drive lanes and other
• common areas.
• Keep utility rooms (sprinkler) and service corridor(s) in clean and safe condition.
• Check Lock Boxes for Functionality and Working Keys.
• Clean/Sweep loose debris from dumpster enclosures.
• Collect shopping carts when time permits. Notify management of chronic issues.
• Provide heat checks of vacant spaces, common area rooms, and other unoccupied
• spaces when exterior temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Provide monthly audits of property showing status of shopping center as well as
• maintenance deficiencies along with photos of issues.
• Wash all Vacant Windows - as needed / as requested by porter manager/supervisor.
• Perform all other dutes as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
