To strengthen our leadership team in Doha, we are seeking an experienced External Audit Director to oversee audit engagements and ensure compliance with international standards.

Role Overview

The External Audit Director will be responsible for leading external audit operations, managing client relationships, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to guide teams in delivering accurate and insightful audit reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements across multiple industries.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and auditing standards.
• Oversee audit planning, execution, and reporting processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to align audit strategies with firm objectives.
• Monitor audit quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop audit staff to achieve professional excellence.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
• 12+ years of experience in external audit, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing complex audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RO3,500.000 per month
