External Audit Senior

We are seeking an External Audit Senior who is ready to step out of the shadows and take a leading role in shaping the financial integrity of our diverse portfolio.

As a Senior, you are the field general. You will lead engagement teams, navigate complex IFRS applications, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring that every audit is a value-add experience rather than just a compliance exercise.

Your Mission

• Engagement Leadership: Plan and execute a variety of external audit engagements for a diverse client base, including retail, real estate, and service-based industries.
• Field Management: Supervise, coach, and mentor junior auditors, reviewing their work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• IFRS Expert: Tackle complex accounting issues and ensure financial statements are presented fairly and in accordance with IFRS and local Qatari laws.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate internal control weaknesses and financial risks, providing clients with robust management letters and actionable recommendations.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact during fieldwork, managing client expectations and resolving technical queries with confidence.
• Final Review: Draft comprehensive financial statements, audit reports, and completion memorandums for Manager and Partner review.

The Profile We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4–6 years of experience in External Audit, preferably within a mid-tier or Big 4 firm.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Credentials: Fully qualified CPA, ACCA, CA, or ACA is a must.
• Technical Savvy: Expert knowledge of ISA and IFRS. Proficiency in audit software (e.g., Caseware) and advanced Excel is essential.
• Analytical Rigor: You have a "skeptical" mindset and an eye for detail that never blinks.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills; Arabic is a significant advantage for client interactions in Ar Rayyan.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to client sites within the Qatar region.
