External Audit Supervisor

We are searching for an External Audit Supervisor—a technical expert and a natural leader who can bridge the gap between audit strategy and field execution.

In this role, you aren't just "checking boxes." You are managing the integrity of our engagements, mentoring the next generation of auditors, and acting as a key point of contact for business owners and CFOs across Qatar.

Your Mission

• Engagement Oversight: Lead and supervise multiple concurrent audit engagements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Technical Authority: Serve as the go-to resource for complex IFRS applications and technical accounting treatments.
• Team Mentorship: Supervise, coach, and review the work of Audit Seniors and Juniors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Strategic Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing insightful management letters that offer genuine value-add beyond the audit report.
• Audit Planning: Develop comprehensive audit plans, risk assessments, and tailored audit programs based on specific industry nuances (Real Estate, Retail, Oil & Gas, etc.).
• Quality Control: Ensure all audit documentation meets the highest standards of quality and is ready for Partner review with minimal revisions.

The Profile We’re Looking For

• Experience: 6–8 years of experience in External Audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or "Assistant Manager" capacity. Mid-tier or Big 4 experience is highly valued.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Credentials: Fully qualified CPA, ACCA, CA, or ACA is mandatory for this level.
• Expertise: Deep mastery of IFRS and ISA. Experience with local Qatari tax regulations and GTA requirements is a major plus.
• Leadership Style: A proactive leader who leads by example, manages pressure effectively, and knows how to motivate a team during peak audit seasons.
• Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal). Arabic language skills are a significant advantage for client and regulatory liaison in Ar Rayyan.
