Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented External Sales Engineer with experience in Instrumentation solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, promoting instrumentation products and solutions, and achieving sales targets across the UAE and GCC market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, and Industrial sectors.
  • Promote and sell instrumentation products such as:
  • Pressure Instruments
  • Temperature Instruments
  • Flow Instruments
  • Level Instruments
  • Control Valves
  • Analytical Instruments
  • Automation Solutions
  • Visit customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and end users regularly for business development.
  • Review RFQs, technical specifications, datasheets, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the internal proposal/engineering team.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for smooth order execution.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, customer visit reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in Instrumentation within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and automation products.
  • Familiarity with EPC contractors, Oil & Gas clients, and industrial projects in UAE/GCC.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to handle customer meetings independently.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM systems, and basic ERP software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Team player with a proactive attitude.
