Extraction Lab Technician

Position Summary

The Lab Technician is responsible for assisting management with product preparation, product processing, post-processing, clean-up, data entry, inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Preparing necessary tools and equipment for the infused products processes.
• Maintain par levels of materials and equipment used in the production of infused products.
• Follow manufacturing processes to transition infused products batches into finished goods.
• Follow infused product scheduling plan.
• Assist Management in implementing new manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the pre-processing duties involved in cannabis distillation.
• Perform the physical batching of cannabis extracts in addition to their data entry into the inventory management system.
• Accurately enter production data into CTS, the inventory management system, and other computerized databases.
• Clean and maintain laboratory.
• Assist with any other lab duties as required by Management.

Qualifications/Experience

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must have or be able to obtain a OLCC Permit
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• 1-2 years’ experience in a cannabis processor setting, preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage projects and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
