Extraction Technician

Reports To

The Extraction Lab Manager who is the direct supervisor of this role.

Job OverviewAble to safely and effectively operate the instruments used throughout the extraction process of various THC concentrates. Daily duties include: efficient operation and maintenance of a closed loop hydrocarbon extraction unit, maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the C1D1 booth and hydrocarbon lab, completion of daily logs, and constant communication with management on best practices and procedures.

First Shift (8AM-5PM)

Pay

$18/hour

Responsibilities and Duties

● Compliance with proper PPE (i.e., lab coat, gloves, hair/beard net)

● Proper operation of machines according to the corresponding SOP

● Attention to detail while operating machines to ensure the safety of you and others as well as the quality of the product

● Routine checks and maintenance of machines (i.e., checking fluid levels, gauges, filters, etc.) and constant communication to the lab managers

● Accurately recording necessary data and key metrics to document and improve current processes

● Always considering ways to improve processes and not hesitant to discuss concerns with the Lab Manager in a timely manner

● Cleaning of station and equipment daily

● Weekly Inventory reports for materials required to complete the job

● Maintain a positive mindset conducive to a peaceful and productive environment

● Ability to plan ahead based on the expectations for that week (i.e., powering on machines, putting live socks in freezer)

● Being on time each day; on time is being present in your department 5 min before start time unless otherwise stated

KPIs

● Consistently producing concentrates which meet the quality and process standards of the Extraction Managers

● Providing routine maintenance before an issue arises, thus extending the life of the machines

● Ensuring that all physical logs are filled out before and during processes as needed

● Maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule

Job Type: Full-time
