Eye Care Customer Specialist

Patient Services Coordinator

Location: Hybrid/In-Office – Kansas City, MO
Job Type: Full-Time

We're looking for a Patient Services Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused call center environment. In this role, you'll rotate weekly through four key areas of patient support - no two weeks feel exactly the same.

What You'll Do:

  • Welcome new and returning patients and guide them through their care process
  • Call patients when their orders are ready to ship and provide next-step support
  • Follow up on expiring orders to help patients stay on track
  • Make second-touch calls and scheduled follow-ups, reinforcing patient trust
  • Work closely with teammates in each area to ensure seamless service

  • Not every patient interaction will be easy - but you'll be fully supported by leadership and your team
  • Weekly rotation between focus areas means frequent context switching - but it also keeps the work fresh and rewarding

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
  • Comfort working in a structured, fast-paced environment
  • Customer service or healthcare experience is a plus
