Job Overview

WeCare Eye Group is seeking a driven, high-performing Optical Sales Consultant to join a fast-paced multi-location eye care organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels in retail sales, understands how to build trust quickly, and can confidently educate patients on premium optical products, lens technology, and personalized add-ons that enhance both vision and lifestyle.

This is not an order-taking role. We are looking for a true sales professional who can identify patient needs, maximize capture opportunities, and consistently deliver exceptional patient experiences while driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through frame and lens selections with confidence and expertise
  • Educate patients on premium lens options including AR coatings, progressive upgrades, blue light protection, photochromics, and second-pair opportunities
  • Present optical recommendations in a persuasive, patient-centered manner
  • Consistently exceed sales targets through strong product knowledge and relationship-building
  • Create an exceptional patient experience that balances healthcare and retail excellence
  • Maintain merchandising standards and support inventory management
  • Collaborate closely with providers and front desk teams to ensure seamless patient flow

Qualifications

  • Prior optical, luxury retail, medical sales, or high-ticket consultative sales experience preferred
  • Spanish-speaking strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in sales performance and upselling
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to confidently recommend premium products and services
  • Strong understanding of customer psychology and closing techniques
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
