Key responsibilities

  • Program development: Creating and implementing food safety and quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Auditing and compliance: Conducting internal and external audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.
  • Risk management: Identifying risks in the production and supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Staff training: Providing training to other staff members on quality and safety protocols.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Monitoring production processes to ensure standards are met, and documenting results.
  • Corrective actions: Managing and tracking corrective actions when non-compliance issues are identified.
