Position Summary:

Join our innovative design team in Doha, Qatar, and help shape the future of urban architecture. We are seeking an experienced Façade Designer – Aluminum & Façade to lead the design and engineering of high-performance façade systems for landmark commercial, residential, and institutional projects. This role combines technical excellence with creative problem-solving to deliver solutions that are architecturally striking, structurally sound, and economically viable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of various façade systems including curtain walls, ACP cladding, glazing systems, spider systems, skylights, and other complex building envelopes.
• Convert architectural concepts into engineered, buildable solutions using industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project engineers to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and aesthetic requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with local and international codes, including structural safety, thermal performance, acoustic insulation, and sustainability standards.
• Perform structural calculations and performance analyses, such as wind load, thermal expansion, deflection, and system behavior.
• Review material specifications, technical submittals, and façade components to ensure quality and suitability.
• Provide technical support during project execution, including site coordination, design modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Keep up to date with façade industry innovations, materials, tools, and construction technologies.
• Mentor and support junior designers and CAD technicians to ensure project design integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in façade design, particularly with aluminum and glass systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD;
• Deep understanding of façade systems, including design principles, materials, fabrication techniques, and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; capable of leading interdisciplinary discussions and resolving technical challenges.
