F&A Delivery Operation Manager

Introduction

The Financial & Accounting (F&A) Delivery Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the F&A service delivery processes, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely financial operations for our clients. This role requires strong leadership, process improvement skills, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of F&A professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Design, implement, and continually improve financial and administrative (F&A) service delivery processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and delivery, to align F&A processes with client requirements and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Monitor and analyze F&A service delivery metrics, identifying trends, and proposing improvements.
  • Manage budgets, forecast resource requirements, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in F&A service delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial & Accounting service delivery, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of process improvement, project management, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent English

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Knowledge of shared service centers and global delivery models.
  • Experience in implementing automation and technology solutions in F&A processes.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
