FAA A&P Aircraft Mechanic

Duties:
- Perform required periodic and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and components

- Assist in returning airplanes to service following service difficulties
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate measurements
- Fabricate and install aircraft parts and structures

- Develop standardized, documented procedures appropriate to routine maintenance tasks
- Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move or position aircraft parts
- Ensure documentation required by FAA is correct, consistent, and appropriate
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance operations involving Cessna 152 & Cessna 172 training fleet for an FAA-certificated Part 141 flight school

Requirements:
- Must have FAA certification as Aircraft Mechanic (A&P)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
