Fabric Executive

Roles

• Lead sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement
• Translate design ideas into fabric concepts, manage fabric trials, and ensure commercial viability.
• Focus on technical aspects—fabric construction, yarn count, weave/knit development, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Researching Suppliers:

Identify, evaluate, and qualify domestic and international mills/vendors.

• Negotiation & Costing:

Optimize fabric costs through benchmarking, bulk commitments, and long-term partnerships.

• Design Collaboration:

Work with design teams to select fabrics that align with seasonal collections.

• Fabric Development:

Run lab dips, strike-offs, yardages, and bulk approvals.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

Conduct ISO/AATCC testing (e.g., shrinkage, colorfastness, seam slippage, pilling).

• Inventory & Supply Chain:

Manage stock levels, lead times, and logistics to avoid delays.

• Trend & Innovation:

Monitor new fibers (Tencel, Recycled Polyester, Hemp) and technologies (moisture-wicking, stain resistance).

• Sustainability & Compliance:

Ensure BCI, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, and brand-specific certifications are met.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
